How To Prepare Stuffed Grape Leaves?



How to prepare the delicious Egyptian stuffed grape leaves at home?


One of the most delicious food in Egypt is the stuffed grape leaves, it is basically grape leaves with tomatoes, I assure that you will fill in love with it.
It is great for vegetarians, if you are not a vegetarian, you can add meat inside it.


Components


1- Two fresh red tomatoes
2- Half a cup of finely chopped parsley (fresh)
3- cup soft minced green mint (fresh)
4- A cup of rice
5- Salt and spices
6- Small onion
7- A quarter of a kilo of grape leaves
8- 2 cubes chicken stock
9- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
10- soup for preparing
11- Half a lemon


Step 1



In a medium bowl, fill the pot with water and put in two drops of oil.
Leave the water to a boil, then put grape leaves in it for a few moments until it becomes soft.



Step 2



We remove the grape leaves from the water, put it in a filter and leave it to cool.


Step 3



In another bowl, cut the tomatoes into very small pieces and also the onions, cut them into small squares or thin slices, mix them with rice, parsley and the rest of the filling ingredients and stir them well.


Step 4



Before you start filling the grape leaves, prepare the cooking pot by placing the worn out leaves of the grapes or the dry leaves on the floor.



Step 5



We take a little filling and put it on the rough side of the paper and start wrapping it as shown in the picture.



Step 6



Stuff the fingers in the cooking pot, and sprinkle a lemon pinch and a tablespoon of oil after filling the half of the pot, then sprinkle the rest of the lemon on the pot after it is completed to keep the grape leaf shine.

In a cup of warm water, melt the chicken broth and pour it on the stuffed until it is covered with water and put it on a high heat until the water is low and then transfer it over a quiet fire or put in place of water.
